DESCRIPTION:
The plant we get our oil from is a tall, tufted, perennial, scented grass with long narrow leaves and an abundant complex lacework of underground white roots. It is mainly cultivated in India, Tahiti, Java and Haiti. We use it primarily for its woody fragrance properties, but also because it is a great stimulant and tonic.
