Bulldog is delighted to be one of the main sponsors for the 2000 mile ‘Boston to Austin’ run. Scott Jenkins (29) and Rhys Jenkins (22), two brothers from Cardiff, are to embark on an astonishing 2,000 mile run across the US to raise money for Help For Heroes. This crazy charity endeavor is the equivalent of more than 75 marathons! 

The idea for the run, from Boston to Austin, was sparked by their growing admiration for the bravery of their friends who are currently serving in the armed forces in Afghanistan. After deciding they wanted to do something to help their friends, who are risking their lives on a daily basis, they set about constructing the mammoth running challenge. Starting on September 15th 2010, the two brothers will leave from the Boston, Massachusetts and continue on the remarkable 2,000 mile run, arriving in Austin, Texas on November 27th 2010.

We’re delighted to announce our first award overseas. Leading Swedish men’s magazine, Café magazine have judged Bulldog to be winner of “Best skincare brand” for their annual awards. Since launching in Sweden back in February this year we’ve been over the moon with how the brand has been received. It seems our Swedish brothers know great quality natural skincare when they use it! Well done Sweden. Skål!

And here's a (very loose) translation of what the judges had to say:
“When a successful new English brand came to Sweden we were sceptical. Can skincare in this price bracket really compete with the world leading, premium priced skincare giants? The answer came with the first skin contact. The obvious feeling of quality, nice fragrance and the fact that the products – due to the fact that they are free from harsh chemicals and artificial ingredients – also work well on sensitive skin, have made the dog a winner. We would be happy to list the whole lot of fantastic essential oils and active ingredients right here, but instead we'll just say: Bulldog do a perfect job.”

Every year Bulldog attends the Natural & Organic Products Show in London. It's always a great show and is a fantastic opportunity for us to meet the owners of the amazing independent natural stores that stock Bulldog products. Here is Simon's video of the show:
